Ages after having acquired JotSpot, Google has finally launched their Google Sites product.

I haven’t had time yet to look it over in details, but to me at first glance it seems like an early version of Microsoft’s SharePoint. It uses the interface known from Google Apps, so if you (as I) am an avid user of same, it should feel pretty intuitive.

I’m looking forward to testing the product out. Just maybe it can serve as a project management tool towards clients. At least that’s my faint hope.

Lifehack has some excellent advice on how to promote yourself without being an ass. Because that’s many times how doing self-promotion is being perceived - because it’s not genuine relationsship building but more like relationsship mining.
